Romania's President-elect, Nicușor Dan, is in Poland this Sunday to participate in the "March of a Million Hearts". He is joined by Rafał Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw and a pro-European candidate in the Polish presidential elections. During his visit, Dan will also deliver a speech and has met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, writes news.ro.

According to News. ro, the Polish Prime Minister's Chancellery announced on Facebook that the meeting between the two officials was taking place.

Nicușor Dan is scheduled to participate in the "March of a Million Hearts" in Bankowy Square, where he will deliver a speech. He announced his visit to Poland on Saturday, stating that he would take part in an electoral event to support Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski's candidacy in the presidential elections.

"Yes. I was invited on my last day before I take office as president. At the invitation of my Polish colleagues, I will attend an electoral event in support of the democratic candidate, the mayor of Warsaw, in the presidential elections," said Nicușor Dan, as quoted by News.ro.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who supported Nicușor Dan during his campaign, congratulated him after he won the Romanian presidential election. Tusk sent his message in three languages: Romanian, English, and Polish.

We remind you that Nicușor-Daniel Dan won the Romanian presidential election with 53.60% of the valid votes, according to the final data presented after the centralization of all 20,085 minutes. He received 6,168,696 votes, leading by over 829,000 votes against his opponent, George-Nicolae Simion, who garnered 5,338,999 votes, or 46.4%.
