"An element of psychological operation." The Ministry of Defense comments on Moscow's statements regarding possible challenges on the left side of the Nistru

The statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense about the possible provocations of Ukraine in the Transnistrian region is rather an element of psychological operation than real intentions. The statement was made by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Valeriu Mija, during the "Public Space" show on Radio Moldova. The official noted that the state authorities must carefully monitor the situation and be vigilant.

"The population must be aware that a classic war is going on in Ukraine. One element of this warfare is psychological operations. State institutions must be vigilant, monitor this subject (...)". Valeriu Mija also stated that the Russian Federation is used to making such statements quite often, but the Russian Ministry of Defense comes with such a warning for the first time. "Systemically we are monitoring to see the effect and how true the intent and capabilities are. Obviously, we shouldn't ignore them, but we shouldn't be naive, to look at them as romantic elements. That is why we are vigilant and able to take certain actions in case it happens. But at the moment the representatives of the Ministry of Defense say that it is more an element of a psychological operation than real intentions. At the same time, we are carefully monitoring", emphasized the state secretary. We remind you that this morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Ukraine would prepare an armed provocation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova. On the other hand, Chisinau does not confirm this information, urging citizens to remain calm and to follow official and credible sources of the country.

Families with children with severe disabilities will get financial assistance

Children with severe disabilities in our country will benefit from a new support package developed with the help of the development partners of the Republic of Moldova.
