Carolina Novac and Constantin Borosan named to Moldovagaz Supervisory Board

Carolina Novac and Constantin Borosan, both state secretaries in the Ministry of Energy, were appointed by the government to Moldovagaz's Supervisory Board. This decision was approved during Moldovagaz's General Meeting of Shareholders. Additionally, four representatives from Gazprom were also appointed to the Supervisory Board, according to an announcement from the Public Property Agency.

At the Ministry of Energy, Carolina Novac is responsible for decarbonization, which includes promoting renewable energy and enhancing energy efficiency. At the end of May 2024, she was appointed Vice President of the Moldovagaz Supervisory Board.

Constantin Borosan oversees natural gas, electricity, thermal energy, cogeneration, and petroleum products. He served on the Moldovagaz Supervisory Board from 2023 to 2024.

We remind you that the Republic of Moldova holds a 35.33% stake in the total voting shares (share capital) of Moldovagaz, granting it the right to two out of six seats on the Supervisory Board.
