Republic of Moldova-EU meeting in Brussels: Justice reform and security on the agenda

Prime Minister Dorin Recean will visit Brussels on June 3-4. During this visit, he will participate in the ninth EU-Republic of Moldova Association Council meeting. The event will evaluate Chisinau's progress in its EU accession process and assess the commitments made towards key reforms.
The discussions will focus on justice reform, combating corruption, strengthening democracy and security, and promoting economic cooperation, especially in the energy sector.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean's agenda also involves meetings with several European Commissioners. Additionally, the Prime Minister will participate in a public event dedicated to the Growth Plan for Moldova, an initiative to accelerate the country's economic development and integrate it into European structures.
The official delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu, and Minister of Environment Sergiu Lazarencu.
