Voter register 2025: Over 3.2 million eligible voters registered
As of June 2, 2025, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced that 3,297,499 voters were registered in the State Register of Voters. More than 80% of these voters are registered in level II administrative-territorial units, such as districts, municipalities, and autonomous units.
According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), 2,746,062 citizens are eligible to vote and are assigned to the administrative-territorial units of the second level.
This number excludes individuals who hold citizenship of the Republic of Moldova but do not have a registered domicile or residence, including those who are authorized emigrants living abroad—275,162 people.
Additionally, 276,275 citizens with voting rights have registered domiciles in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Nistru, which are currently outside the sovereign control of the Republic of Moldova's constitutional authorities.
As of June 2, there were 655,894 registered voters in the Chisinau municipality.
We remind you that the parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025. This decision was made with the approval of 57 deputies.
