Accident in Chisinau: a 73-year-old woman, killed by truck on the pedestrian crossing
A 73-year-old woman died this morning following a road accident on Vadul lui Vodă Street in the Ciocana sector of Chisinau.
According to preliminary information from the police, a 59-year-old man driving a Kamaz truck struck a woman while she was legally crossing the street at an unmarked pedestrian crossing.
The impact was fatal, and she died at the scene.
The police opened a criminal case and are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
