Over 150 state-backed cultural projects under the "Access to Culture 2025" program

The Ministry of Culture has announced that 159 cultural projects from across the country were pre-selected for implementation. This follows the evaluation of submissions made during the first call for proposals under the National Program "Access to Culture 2025."
According to the cited source, the call for applications generated increased interest from communities nationwide, with submissions received from all districts of the Republic of Moldova.
The Minister of Culture, Sergiu Prodan, expressed his appreciation for the involvement of local communities, particularly those in rural areas. He stated that the program helps to strengthen a sustainable cultural infrastructure.
“We are pleased with both the quantity and quality of cultural initiatives emerging from rural localities, which reflects the active desire of citizens to preserve, promote, and redefine culture within their communities. The 'Access to Culture 2025' program is a strategic response to this vital need, providing a platform that recognizes, supports, and capitalizes on local ideas.”
The selected projects will be allocated to implementing institutions under the Ministry, which will work with the beneficiaries to review the proposals, establish budgets, and develop cultural activities.
Authorities announced that a new call for proposals will soon be launched to continue supporting cultural communities across the country.
