Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges Moldovan citizens to leave Israel

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) of the Republic of Moldova is advising Moldovan citizens currently in Israel to leave the country due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. This warning is issued in light of the worsening security situation in the region.
The Moldovan authorities emphasize that they are closely monitoring the situation on the ground and maintaining constant communication with international partners and Israeli authorities to identify the safest options for evacuation and transit.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that several land border crossing points remain operational: Allenby Bridge and Jordan River Crossing (both to Jordan), Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (also to Jordan), and Taba Crossing (towards Egypt).
Citizens intending to transit to Egypt or Jordan must meet the entry requirements of these countries, which include obtaining the necessary visas. For Egypt, visas can be obtained in advance or, in certain cases, directly at the Taba border crossing, depending on the decision of the Egyptian authorities. In the case of Jordan, visas can be issued at the border, but entry may be denied without explanation. It is also recommended to have cash available to pay the visa fee.

Additionally, authorities in Chisinau reiterate their call to all Moldovan citizens in Israel who do not have essential obligations to consider leaving the territory voluntarily as soon as possible using safe and available routes.
