An increasing number of Moldovans in Israel are seeking assistance to leave the conflict zone. Recently, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv received 26 inquiries from citizens wanting to know about evacuation options and whether a special flight is being arranged. Authorities in Chisinau continue to advise citizens who do not have essential reasons to stay in Israel to leave the country as soon as possible, utilizing the open and safe roads and border crossings.

"All individuals who contacted the diplomatic mission were called and informed about the options for leaving Israel," stated Tatiana Barac, advisor in the Public Diplomacy, Strategic Communication, and Media Interaction Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).

Recently, authorities in Chisinau urged Moldovan citizens currently in Israel to leave the country due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. This advisory comes amid a deteriorating security situation in the region.

Representatives from the MAE assure that they are closely monitoring developments on the ground and are constantly collaborating with international partners and Israeli authorities to identify the safest evacuation and transit options.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also informs that several land border crossing points remain operational: Allenby Bridge and Jordan River Crossing (both towards Jordan), Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (also leading to Jordan), and Taba (towards Egypt).

Additionally, authorities in Chisinau reiterate their call to all Moldovan citizens in Israel who do not have essential obligations to consider leaving the territory voluntarily as soon as possible, utilizing safe and available routes.
