Moldova's Tarnovschi shines in multi-medal haul
The athlete took silver in the 500-meter canoe sprint. Tarnovschi clinched silver after edging out Romania's Cătălin Chirilă in a photo finish. The European champion was the Czech, Martin Fuksa.
Just the day before, Tarnovschi had already earned two bronzes. First, our athlete finished third in the 1,000-meter canoe sprint.
A few hours later, Tarnovschi competed in the 500-meter mixed canoe quartet final alongside his brother Oleg, Daniela Cociu, and Maria Olărașu. The Moldovan crew won bronze.
