Fire in Copanca: Nearly 10 hectares of dry vegetation destroyed, preliminary data

A massive fire broke out in the village of Copanca, located in the Causeni district. The flames burnt approximately ten hectares of dry vegetation and affected a household.
More than 30 firefighters, along with eight specialised vehicles and support from locals and forestry employees, worked for over eight hours to extinguish the fire. The fire was reportedly caused by the uncontrolled burning of dry vegetation.


The General Inspectorate for Emergencies urges citizens to comply with fire prevention rules.
