ODA's june impact: Boosting Moldova's entrepreneurs & economy

In June, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) disbursed hundreds of millions of lei through various support programs for entrepreneurs, young people, and local businesses.
Energy cost compensation
To ease the burden of electricity costs, ODA provided a total of 7.6 million lei in compensation. This support benefited 255 companies in the manufacturing sector.
Housing support through "Prima Casă PLUS"
Under the government program "Prima Casă PLUS" (First Home PLUS), 340 beneficiaries received state guarantees worth 252.5 million lei, facilitating mortgage loans totaling 394.8 million lei.
Grants for business development
ODA offered non-reimbursable funding totaling 15.06 million lei to 108 companies. Of these, 44 received external funds, and the remaining 64 received grants from the state budget.
Support for small producers
In the same period, four companies received grants worth 1.5 million lei through the Small Producers Support Program, which is part of the "EU4Moldova: Local Communities" initiative, implemented with support from the EU and the governments of Germany, Austria, and Poland.
Access to bank financing
Through the Credit Guarantee Fund, 50 entrepreneurs benefited from guarantees totaling 55.48 million lei, facilitating access to bank loans for business expansion.
Investments through Program "373"
Also in June, under Government Program 373, another 50 entrepreneurs obtained loans worth 204 million lei for investment projects valued at 298 million lei. The state partially compensated interest payments, with a total amount of 5.9 million lei.
Energy efficiency
Through the new financing product "FACEM Sustainable Investments BGK" (We Make Sustainable Investments BGK), four entrepreneurs received approval for total funding of 11.5 million lei for energy efficiency-focused investment projects worth 17.7 million lei.
Funding approved on Entrepreneur's Day
On June 27, coinciding with Entrepreneur's Day, another 105 local businesses were approved for funding. They'll receive total support worth 48.6 million lei, which is expected to generate over 107.5 million lei in investments for the economy. The Government of the Republic of Moldova is contributing 36.45 million lei for 57 companies, while the European Union is contributing 10.61 million lei for 44 businesses.
ODA states that the targeted support offered by the state and development partners to citizens and economic agents aims to sustain the real economy, stimulate investments, and curb migration.
