New U.S. visa rules: Social media disclosure required

U.S. visa applicants must now provide all social media usernames or handles used on each platform within the last five years. The U.S. Embassy in Moldova announced these new visa rules.
"Applicants are required to provide on the DS-160 visa application form all social media usernames or handles used on each platform over the past five years.
Applicants certify that the information in their visa application is true and accurate before signing and submitting it," a message from the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Moldova states.
According to the Embassy, failure to provide social media information may result in visa refusal and ineligibility for future visas.
