For the first time in the Republic of Moldova, students will be able to experience digital objects tangibly and learn with haptic technology and augmented reality.

The Ministry of Education and Research is announcing the launch of the educational platform "Haptilica," designed to allow students to explore STEM concepts not just theoretically, but also in an interactive and sensory way.

Through a partnership with Bloomcoding, the "Haptilica" platform will be integrated into 100 schools across the country, making it the first global initiative to introduce this technological combination into the educational process.

"It's an opportunity for students to interact with a heart, a neuron, or a geometric object – to visualize it in space, rotate it, and gain more information about it. This is a new technology we want to see in our schools," stated Dan Perciun, Minister of Education and Research.

The platform allows for the visualization of digital objects on a phone screen, simultaneously providing the tactile sensation of holding them.

Bloomcoding representatives say such an experience can change how students perceive learning: "We've observed how children can develop a passion for a subject in a single lesson. We aim to replicate this experience nationwide."

The new systems will be implemented in schools across the Republic of Moldova beginning this September.
