CEC warns parties: without updated ASP data, they can’t join the parliamentary elections

Political parties in the Republic of Moldova must submit information regarding the numerical and nominal lists of their presidents, vice-presidents, and members of the central executive bodies to the Public Services Agency (ASP) by July 14. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) stated that any political parties that fail to provide this information by the July 14 deadline will not be permitted to participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28.
Data must be submitted within 15 days following the adoption of the internal decision. This information will then be published in the Official Gazette and on the ASP website.
At the same time, party member registers, which are managed by the executive bodies of the formations, must be maintained and presented accurately. The responsibility for the accuracy of this data lies with the parties. The relevant information must be submitted to both the CEC and the National Integrity Authority.
The CEC informs that, during the process of registering parties for election participation, it will rely solely on the data officially provided by the ASP.
The electoral period is set to begin on July 14, 2025, according to the calendar program adopted by the CEC.
