Anti-corruption prosecutor named deputy director of the National Institute of Justice

Prosecutor Ghennadi Epure was appointed as the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Justice. This appointment occurred during the Council meeting on July 8.
The candidacy proposed by Director Ramona Strugariu was unanimously approved.
Ghennadi Epure, a prosecutor at the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, graduated from the National Institute of Justice in 2016. He holds a doctorate in law and two master's degrees: one in Law and the other in Economics.
With extensive experience in combating corruption, Epure has distinguished himself through his roles in professional training for various audiences and judicial system representatives. He is a certified trainer and tutor for the HELP program of the Council of Europe and has been an active member of the INJ Council.
His appointment will take effect on the date of his official secondment by the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
The National Institute of Justice is responsible for the initial training of candidates for positions as judges and prosecutors, the continuous training of serving magistrates, and the training of other categories of legal professionals.
