The President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, is coming on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova, the presidential institution announces. According to the quoted source, the leader from Athens will have meetings with the country's leadership in Chisinau.

According to the Presidency, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, will have a meeting with the Head of State, Maia Sandu, tomorrow, March 1. The cited source states that, at 10:45 a.m., immediately after the meeting, a memorandum will be signed between the Foreign Ministries of both states for better cooperation in the training of diplomats, and at 11:00 a.m. the two heads of state will make statements for media.

We remind you that the law enforcement officers announced in the morning that they limit and prohibit, for the next three days, meetings and mass demonstrations, in the context in which the Republic of Moldova would host a high-ranking visit between February 28 and March 2.

Families with children with severe disabilities will get financial assistance

Children with severe disabilities in our country will benefit from a new support package developed with the help of the development partners of the Republic of Moldova. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, over 5,500 families will benefit from this program, each of whom will receive a one-off allowance of 3,000 lei. The measure comes as essential support for these families, underlining the authorities' commitment to improving the living conditions of people with disabilities. However, for some families this amount is not enough to cover the costs of caring for children with disabilities.
