Heavy traffic at Chisinau Airport; travelers advised to arrive three hours early

Traffic at Chisinau International Airport is particularly heavy during this time of year because more passengers choose to travel during the summer season. In light of this, the airport administration encourages travelers to arrive at the terminal at least three hours prior to their flight. This will allow enough time to complete all necessary procedures.
Passengers are encouraged to prepare in advance for security screening by adhering to the rules regarding liquids, which allow for a maximum of 100 ml per container in a transparent bag that holds no more than 1 liter. Additionally, travelers should remove electronic devices, such as laptops and tablets, from their hand luggage.
At the same time, travelers are advised to avoid bringing prohibited items, such as knives or lighters.
Airport representatives remind passengers to keep their valid travel documents accessible and to demonstrate patience and respect towards fellow travelers and airport staff.
"Cooperative behavior helps to streamline the process for everyone," notes the cited source.
In June, Chisinau International Airport recorded a total traffic of 620,675 passengers, both boarding and disembarking. This represents an increase of 39.7% compared to the same month last year, with 176,517 more people traveling.
