Croatia backs Moldova's European journey

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi and his Croatian counterpart, Gordan Grlić Radman, discussed Croatia's support for Moldova's European integration journey at the 18th Dubrovnik Forum international conference.

Minister Gordan Grlić Radman assured Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi of Croatia's full support for Moldova's EU accession, including sharing Croatia's experience and providing backing within European institutions.

"Croatia remains a reliable partner for Moldova in its European Union accession process, and its consistent support is essential," stated Minister Mihai Popșoi.

Additionally, according to Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials also discussed strengthening political dialogue between the two countries, along with cooperation opportunities in areas such as education, tourism, and energy security.

The Moldovan official emphasized that the both parties will continue to collaborate on concrete projects and initiatives that will benefit people in both countries.

It's worth noting that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, is on a working visit to Croatia from July 11–12. He is participating in the 18th Dubrovnik Forum international conference, an annual event organized under the auspices of Croatia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Popșoi also has several meetings scheduled on the sidelines of the event.
