Prime Minister Dorin Recean welcomed with military honours in Bucharest
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Dorin Recean, arrived in Bucharest. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers was welcomed with military honours at the Victoria Palace by his Romanian counterpart, Nicolae Ciucă.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean is on his first visit abroad since taking office on 1 March. His agenda in Bucharest, previously announced by the Government, focuses on three priorities: deepening the close Moldovan-Romanian relationship, with a focus on Moldova's economic recovery, developing cooperation in the energy sector, and discussing important infrastructure projects.
At 12:15 pm, Moldovan Prime Ministers Dorin Recean and Nicolae Ciucă will hold press conference, which will be broadcasted live on moldova1.md, as well as on the social media managed by Teleradio-Moldova.
In Bucharest, the head of the government in Chisinau will also meet Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown and His Royal Highness Prince Radu.
During his visit to Bucharest, the Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitisation Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Lilia Dabija, Minister of Defence Anatolie Nosatyi and Secretary General of the Government Artur Mija.
