Coffins and placards at Presidency: Detained youths were allegedly paid by a political party

Five individuals, including minors, are under investigation by law enforcement after they were found bringing two coffins to the Presidency. The General Inspectorate of Police reported that when the individuals noticed the presence of law enforcement, they attempted to flee but were apprehended and taken to the inspectorate for questioning.

The detained individuals claimed they were promised money by representatives of a political party in exchange for transporting specific items to designated locations. They were divided into two groups: one responsible for transporting the items and the other for displaying the banners in various locations.

The Buiucani Police Inspectorate is investigating the case for potential hooliganism as well as corruption related to the organized activities. In cases involving minors, parents may face consequences for failing to fulfill their responsibilities in educating and training their children.
