Nistru Chișinău claims 2nd consecutive Beach Soccer Cup

Nistru Chișinău has claimed the Moldova Beach Soccer Cup for the second consecutive year.
Ruslan Pernai's squad delivered a commanding performance in the final, defeating ARF Dubăsari with a dominant 7-2 scoreline.
Nistru started the match at the "La Izvor" park arena with purpose, with Grigore Cojocari and Alexandru Sîrghi each scoring within the first 8 minutes. Their opponents responded with a stunning goal from goalkeeper Anatolie Cebotari.
In the second period, Nistru extended their lead significantly. Nicolae Ignat scored twice, and Alexandru Sîrghi added one.
In the third period, Constantin Gurjui scored for Nistru, followed by Alexandru Sîrghi completing his hat-trick. Andrei Negara then scored a consolation goal for Dubăsari.
"I thank our opponents; they played well. However, we've been training with the national team, preparing intensely for the European Championship. That's why we're in peak form and achieving these results," said Nicolae Ignat.
"We are preparing for the Euro Beach Soccer League in Italy, and then we have home matches. I believe the hard work we put in during training paid off in this game," stated Grigore Cojocari.
Many players from both teams are set to represent the Republic of Moldova national squad in the Euro Beach Soccer League qualifiers. The first stage will take place in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, from July 25th to 27th. The second stage will be held in Chișinău from August 1st to 3rd.
