PAS kicks off election campaign, eyes EU integration

The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) is set to submit its documents to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today, July 20, for registration to participate in the September parliamentary elections.

The PAS President announced this at a press conference, joined by the candidates on their list, after the PAS National Political Council approved the party's list for the autumn elections.

"I am honored to stand with the best, most devoted, and most patriotic individuals—those who have succeeded and distinguished themselves in their fields, be it healthcare, culture, sports, the private sector, academia, and so forth. These are personalities who truly grasp the gravity of this moment and the immense importance of the task before us (...) We are going to the CEC right now to submit the documents, and may this be a propitious moment. Moldova faces a crucial decision: either after September 28, we rapidly become members of the EU, or after September 28, we become members of the EU even faster," stated the PAS President.

PAS approved the official list of candidates for parliamentary elections

The National Political Council of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) voted on July 20 to approve the party's list for the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28. The announcement was made by PAS President Igor Grosu.

"I thank these individuals for deciding to contribute to keeping Moldova on the right path. We have united because the things that unite us are stronger than those that divide us. Professionals from healthcare, education, sports, culture, business, agriculture, public service, diplomacy, local public administration, and Moldovans from the diaspora—we have united with the best within us so that Moldova can prevail!" Igor Grosu remarked.

Igor Grosu asserts that September 28 is a decisive step for the Republic of Moldova's path to the European Union:

"This is why we have united—for peace within the European family. The PAS EU 2028 list signifies our duty to ensure that Moldova prevails."

Igor Grosu has published the official list of PAS candidates for the autumn parliamentary elections.

It is worth mentioning that, starting Sunday, July 20, individuals wishing to run in the parliamentary elections on September 28 can submit their applications to the Central Electoral Commission.
