Moldovan wrestler Rîngaci takes 2nd in ranking series

Moldovan wrestler Irina Rîngaci took second place at the "Polyák Imre and Varga János Memorial" Ranking Series international tournament, held from July 17-20 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Competing in the 65 kg category, Irina Rîngaci first defeated Ekaterina Koshkina, an athlete competing under a neutral flag who withdrew due to injury. She then achieved a dominant 10:0 victory against Hungary's Eniko Elekes.
In the final, Irina faced off against Norway's Grace Bullen, where she lost with a score of 10:16. Her performance at this memorial event also served as preparation for this autumn's World Championships. The competition will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, from September 13-21.
