Tragedy in Drochia: Two men die as car hits electrical transformer
Two men tragically lost their lives in a road accident that occurred yesterday evening around 6:00 PM at the entrance to the village of Drochia. According to the General Inspectorate of Police, the driver, a 37-year-old man, was driving a Dacia car at excessive speed. At some point, he reportedly lost control of the steering wheel and crashed violently into an electrical transformer in the area.
The right-hand passenger, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital by paramedics but unfortunately died shortly after being admitted. Police are investigating the case to establish all circumstances of the accident.
