University enrollment deadline extended: Applications accepted until Monday, July 28

The deadline for online submissions of applications to higher education institutions was extended to Monday, July 28, at 1:00 p.m. This decision, made by the Ministry of Education and Research, specifically benefits lyceum graduates who participated in the additional session of the baccalaureate exams.
Candidates who have received positive results will be able to submit their applications for the competition on the eadmitere.gov.md platform starting the evening of Sunday, July 27, according to a press release from the institution.
The 16 universities in Moldova are offering 320 bachelor's degree programs and 378 master's degree programs. The Ministry of Education and Research has allocated 8,712 budget-funded places in higher education institutions for the upcoming academic year.
Admission occurs in two stages: the primary session, which began on July 21 and concludes on July 28, and an additional session scheduled for August 13 to 15.
Candidates who are admitted to one or more specialties will need to select the institution they intend to attend and submit their original documents. Final results will be announced on August 12 for the primary session and on August 24 for the additional session.
Recently, the Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, announced that over 12,500 unique candidates submitted applications for undergraduate studies within the first five days of the admission period for higher education institutions. The authorities aim to raise this number to 17,000 candidates choosing local universities.
