Moldova CEC registers 101 PAS candidates for September 28 election

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Moldova, during its July 27 session, officially registered 101 candidates from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) for parliamentary seats in the September 28 general election.
According to the CEC, the party's electoral symbol was also registered, along with the confirmation of its representative to the Central Electoral Commission for the election period and the individual responsible for finances (treasurer) for the duration of the electoral campaign.
Registered candidates for Member of Parliament in the Republic of Moldova who fall under the provisions of Article 16 of the Electoral Code must suspend their current professional activities for the duration of the electoral campaign. Failure to do so will result in the annulment of their registration and their exclusion from the electoral competitor's list, the CEC stated.

The electoral campaign for the parliamentary election is set to begin on August 29, 2025.
It's worth noting that the Party of Action and Solidarity submitted its documents to the CEC on July 20, seeking registration to participate in the September parliamentary election.
