US will announce a new support package for Ukraine
The United States will announce a new military aid package on Friday to support Ukraine, the White House reports, according to Reuters.

The White House spokesman John Kirby did not provide figures on the new help package, but said on Thursday that more details will be made public shortly. It is anticipated that the topic of help for Ukraine will be debated by President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, when the two leaders meet at the White House on Friday, Digi24.ro reports. At the same time, the US has discussions with close allies to ensure that they will support the sanctions that Americans want to apply to the Beijing regime if China provides military support for the Ukraine campaign, writes Reuters. Kirby was asked if any sanctions against China will be a topic for Biden and Scholz, and he replied: "I would certainly expect that, in the context of discussions about what is happening in Ukraine, the issue of support of a third party for Russia will appear." Meanwhile, the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell urges European states to contribute another billion euros to the European Peace Facility (FEP), a fund used for the purchase of Ukraine weapons, this amount to be allocated to the purchase of caliber 155 MM used by Ukrainian artillery, AFP reports, quoted by Agerpres.
