“Vibrație” group marks 20 years with a joint art exhibition

Together, they created a shared space for artistic expression known as the "Vibratie" group. This group consists of seven painters who are united by their love for fine arts and their desire to bring color to communities across the country. Today, two decades after their founding, the artists have returned with the exhibition "Vibrations lasting in time." This moving event is dedicated to their colleagues who are no longer with them: Ion Chitoroagă, Ilie Leu, and Anatol Lazarev.

The works of late painters Ion Chitoroagă, Ilie Leu, and Anatol Lazarev are displayed alongside creations from current colleagues who continue to honor the legacy of the founding members of the "Vibraţie" group.

"Ion Chitoroagă was the initiator of our group. He wanted us to come together to hold exhibitions in various districts, as there are many in Chișinău. We organized a few exhibitions in Cimișlia and even one in Bălți," shares Alexandru Bulat, fine artist and member of the "Vibraţie" group.

"This exhibition is a celebration for us. This composition of flowers is titled 'Processes in Space,' conveying that everything is in motion; nothing remains still," explains Vasile Didic, another fine artist and member of the group.

The diversity of the artwork, the vibrant colors, the picturesque settings, and the creative finesse of the painters captivated visitors' attention.

“The exhibition showcases the splendor of beauty, as painting is an art that delights the eye. Each artist possesses a unique style, and I am truly impressed," one visitor remarked.

“I really appreciated the creations of these seven experienced painters; each one is fascinating in its own way. What a wonderful exhibition!” another guest expressed.

“There is a profound visual satisfaction: the colors, shapes, shadows, light, and the representation of nature are all striking. It is evident that the painters drew inspiration from our homeland and the beauty surrounding us," commented a third attendee.

“They are all quite different and have experienced various artistic schools. Their work is recognized by the public, especially by those who appreciate fine art because they have extended their exhibitions beyond Chișinău, showcasing throughout the republic,” said Dumitru Bolbocean, vice president of the Union of Fine Artists.

The "Vibraţie" group's initiative to return to the public space with a joint exhibition every five years was well-received by the many participants at the opening, including Vlad Vornic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture. The current exhibition is on display at the "Constantin Brâncuşi" gallery until August 17.
