Gold for Moldova at the 2025 World Games: Anastasia Glazunova and Alexei Gluhov are dance sport world champions

Anastasia Glazunova and Alexei Gluhov, Moldovan dancers, debuted a new performance in the Republic of Moldova, winning the gold medal at the dance sports competitions during the 2025 World Games.
The announcement was officially made by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Research, who congratulated the team on their exceptional result.


Romanian dancers Andreea Matei and Rareș Cojoc secured second place, while the bronze medal went to a pair from Poland.
The Republic of Moldova is represented at this edition of the World Games by four talented athletes: kickboxer Stanislav Reniță, muay Thai fighter Artiom Livădari, and dancers Anastasia Glazunova and Alexei Gluhov.
They are competing in a major event that brings together over 4,000 athletes from 115 countries.
The 2025 World Games, set to be held in China from August 7 to 17, will feature 34 different sports disciplines, including sambo, rowing, karate, kickboxing, climbing, dance sports, wushu, and more. This event provides an important platform for athletes from around the world.
