Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) has admitted 1,146 candidates following this year's main admission round.

For the supplementary session, only 36 places are still available, most of which are contract-based.

Most candidates for bachelor's and integrated degree programs were admitted to the following fields: Medicine (754, including 438 state-funded places); Dentistry (130, with only 10 state-funded); Pharmacy (90, including 81 contract-based places); and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (77, with only five state-funded).

For master's programs, the highest number of admissions went to: Public Health Management (10, all contract-based); Advanced Nursing (nine, with four state-funded places); Public Mental Health (eight, with five contract-based); and Human Nutrition (seven, including three state-funded places).

Overall, 1,403 people applied for admission to USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" during the main session.

The university announced a supplementary admission session from August 13-15 for the remaining unfilled places. There are 20 spots available for bachelor's and integrated degree programs, all of which are contract-based: five each for Pharmacy, General Nursing, Optometry, and Public Health.

In addition, three state-funded places are still available, exclusively for high school graduates from the eastern districts who followed programs approved by the Ministry of Education and Research: two in Medicine and one in Pharmacy.

The supplementary session also has several master's program places available—13 in total, all contract-based: six for Human Nutrition, three for Early Childhood Intervention, and two each for Molecular Technologies in Health and Advanced Nursing.

Candidates for bachelor's, integrated, and master's degree programs must submit their applications online via the eadmitere.gov.md platform. Those who were unable to apply online during the main session are also eligible to participate in the supplementary admission session.

Interim results for the supplementary admission session for bachelor's, integrated, and master's programs will be published on August 20 on the university’s website.

Admitted candidates will then need to submit their original documents between August 21-23, with final results being announced on August 24.
