Thieves stole approximately $2 million in diamonds, luxury watches, gold, and other items during a brazen daytime "smash-and-grab" robbery at a Seattle jewelry store.

The heist took just 90 seconds to execute, according to News.ro, citing the Associated Press (AP).

Surveillance video from the West Seattle store shows four masked suspects using hammers to smash the locked glass front door before ransacking six display cases.

One case held approximately $750,000 worth of Rolex watches, Seattle police stated. Another contained an emerald necklace valued at $125,000.

Police said one masked suspect threatened employees with bear spray and a stun gun, but no one was harmed.

"As a staff, we're pretty shaken up," said Josh Menashe, vice president of the family-owned store. "The store will be closed for a while."

Menashe said employees finished cleaning up the broken glass and are now working on a complete inventory of the losses.
