ELECTIONS 2025: Our Party launches campaign, unveils 29 draft laws
The Our Party launched its electoral campaign on Friday with the slogan "It's time to be together!" The kickoff event took place in Rediul Mare, Dondușeni, which is the home village of Renato Usatîi's grandmother. The leader of Our Party announced that his team is entering the electoral campaign with 29 draft laws prepared, including proposals to ban the sale of agricultural land to foreign citizens, abolish parliamentary immunity, establish social shops in every district center, and require the mandatory indexation of pensions based on the inflation rate and purchasing power.
"We have prepared 29 draft laws, complete with informative notes, so we can get to work from day one," stated the leader of the Our Party formation, Renato Usatîi.
Among the initiatives outlined by his team, Usatîi highlighted several key proposals: "the exemption of VAT for natural gas users; raising the taxable limit for parcels sent from the diaspora to 500 euros; the establishment of electronic pharmacies in villages; and a draft law imposing strict penalties for LGBT propaganda in schools."
In comparison, Usatîi pointed out that "the largest opposition faction in Parliament has only proposed 24 draft laws over the past year."
He promised that the party's electoral program and the drafted laws will be released on Saturday.
We remind you that Our Party is expected to appear in the 21st position on the ballots for the parliamentary elections on September 28.
We inform you that the official start of the electoral campaign for the elections scheduled on September 28 was initiated on Friday, August 29.
To date, a total of 21 candidates have registered for the elections, which include four blocs, 13 parties, and four independent candidates.
