ELECTIONS 2025: ALDE launches campaign, presents 2025–2029 program

The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) party is launching its electoral campaign with promises to combat corruption, reduce the number of deputies and ministries, and increase salaries. The party is presenting a list of 54 candidates, headed by Arina Spătaru.
The ALDE party has unveiled its program for the 2025-2029 period, highlighting several key priorities. These include investigating 500 major corruption cases and confiscating at least 5 billion lei in illicit assets. The party also proposes to reduce the number of deputies and ministries, raise the minimum wage to 8,000 lei, and increase the average wage to over 20,000 lei. Additionally, they plan to provide 10,000 annual grants for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups.
The program calls for the adoption of 80% of European Union legislation by 2029, the establishment of a ministry dedicated to European Integration, and the attraction of 5 billion euros in foreign investment.
"We will reduce unnecessary institutions and digitalize services so the state becomes a partner rather than an obstacle. We will invest in health, education, and infrastructure, ensuring that people stay and find a decent life here. A European Moldova is not just a distant dream; it is a clear path that we must build together. We are not satisfied with mere slogans about the European path. We want to clear the road to Europe, eliminate corruption, and simplify the state," declared Arina Spătaru.
ALDE is expected to appear as number five on the ballot for the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28.
