ELECTIONS 2025: AUR launches campaign with ten steps for Union

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) has officially launched its campaign, presenting ten steps aimed at achieving unification. These steps include signing a fraternity treaty, establishing an investment fund, promoting economic integration, and developing common infrastructure. Boris Volosatîi, the party leader, emphasized that the Republic of Moldova cannot exist independently from Romania. The campaign launch event took place at the monument dedicated to Ion and Doina Aldea Teodorovici in Chisinau.

The slogan of the AUR party is "Union is not a dream; it is a necessity." Among the ten steps towards unification, several key proposals stand out: capping luxury salaries and establishing a union fund, implementing social measures such as a minimum wage of 15,000 lei and a minimum pension of 5,000 lei, investing in healthcare and modern hospitals in Bălți and Cahul, developing demographic programs to support young families, integrating with the Romanian legal system, providing subsidies for farmers, and ensuring security guarantees through NATO.

"Brothers, on September 28th, we must make a choice. We can either remain in poverty and decline or choose the natural path of national unity. However, know that we come not just with slogans, promises, or empty words," stated Boris Volosatîi.

AUR presented its candidate list as a professional one, comprising teachers, doctors, farmers, entrepreneurs, and young people.

"During 2024, approximately 15,000 jobs were lost; the Moldovan economy is suffering. Unification means creating new jobs and fostering a prosperous business environment," said Nadejda Mardari, AUR candidate.

AUR is participating in the parliamentary elections for the second time and is an extension of the Romanian party led by George Simion.

We remind you that AUR could be Nb. 14 on the ballot.

The electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections will run until September 26.
