F1 Dutch Grand Prix: Piastri wins maiden race at Zandvoort

Australia's Oscar Piastri has claimed his first career win in Formula 1, triumphing at the Dutch Grand Prix, the 15th round of the championship.
The McLaren driver secured victory after a thrilling race, leading from pole position to the chequered flag.
His teammate, Lando Norris, stayed close throughout the race at the Zandvoort circuit and attempted to challenge his lead, but the British driver was forced to retire with six laps remaining. The result widens the gap between the two in the drivers' championship from seven points to 34. Local favourite Max Verstappen also pushed the Australian hard, but had to settle for second place.
The surprise of the race, Racing Bulls' Isack Hadjar, secured a place in the top four and capitalised on Norris's retirement to claim the final spot on the podium. For Ferrari, the Dutch Grand Prix proved to be a disaster, with both drivers retiring from the race. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton collided with the barrier, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was taken out by Alpine's Kimi Antonelli.
In the constructors' championship, McLaren hold a commanding lead with 559 points, well ahead of Scuderia Ferrari in second with 260. The 16th round of the Formula 1 season is scheduled for 7 September at the historic Monza circuit in Italy.
