Turkey grants more permits to Moldovan carriers

Turkey has granted Moldovan carriers an additional quota of 300 permits for transportation to or from third countries within its territory. This decision followed negotiations with representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development in Chisinau.

According to the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA), the authorizations will remain valid until January 31, 2026.

ANTA states, “This additional quota was obtained to enhance the competitiveness of Moldovan operators in the international transport services market.”

Initially, Turkey granted 11,000 "free" authorizations for carriers from the Republic of Moldova for the year 2025.
