Benefits and challenges of the Republic of Moldova’s accession to the EU, under discussion today in Chisinau
The benefits and challenges of the Republic of Moldova's accession to the EU, the progress achieved in one year since the submission of the application for accession and the priorities of our country for 2023 will be discussed today, March 8, in a panel titled "Moldova's accession to the EU: a discussion with the ministers for European affairs". The event will be attended by the President Maia Sandu and the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu.
According to a statement issued by the MAEIE, the event will also highlight the contributions of women in the modernization and European integration processes. According to the quoted source, a group of ministers and secretaries for European affairs from Austria, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania would also participate in the discussion panel, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the support of UN Women.
