President Sandu condemns Russia’s fiercest attack on Ukraine

Maia Sandu, the President of the Republic of Moldova, strongly condemned the most intense attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, which occurred during the night of September 6 to 7. In a message on the X platform, she stated that Russia brings the world “only tons of lies and thousands of missiles that kill innocent civilians.”
"All that Russia offers to the world today are countless lies and thousands of missiles that indiscriminately kill civilians. Last night’s attack on Kiev resulted in the deaths of innocent people, including a baby, and caused a fire in the Government building. Moldova stands firmly with Ukraine against this terrorism," stated Maia Sandu.
The Kremlin's forces launched the most intense missile and drone attack on Ukraine last night since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the neighboring country.
According to Ukrainian authorities, explosions were reported in Kiev, Dnipro, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Kremenchug, and Krivoi Rog. In the capital, the preliminary toll indicates at least three deaths and 20 injuries, including a pregnant woman. For the first time, the Government building was damaged.
