Over 300 jobs available at the Comrat Fair

An opportunities fair was organized in Comrat, where employers presented interesting job offers and competitive salaries for residents in the southern region of the country. According to the National Employment Agency, there are currently over 300 job vacancies available in the Gagauzia Autonomous Region.

Job vacancies, both in private enterprises and public institutions, were showcased at the Comrat fair.
"We have job openings not only in Comrat but also throughout Gagauzia, including positions in the police inspectorates of Comrat, Vulcănești, and Ceadâr-Lunga. There are opportunities available for both non-commissioned officers and officers at the dispatch center, the 112 service, and public safety."
"In Comrat, a new building was completed in 2023. Cabling operators are employed, and car wiring harnesses are produced. New employees start with a net salary of 7,000 lei (after tax deductions), and after six months, they become permanent employees with a salary increase."

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Gagauzia Autonomous Region in collaboration with the Comrat City Hall.
“The event is called the 'Opportunities Fair' and is structured around two main components. The first component is the fair itself, where vocational schools, employers, and active economic agents who create jobs are present. Traditional craftsmen related to the tourism sector are also participating,” says Mihail Paşalî, a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“We have been running our family business for over five years. My husband and I produce items in the national style. I believe today will be interesting not only for local residents but also for tourists,” she adds.

The "Opportunities Fair" in Comrat was attended by 50 entrepreneurs and representatives of public and educational institutions.
