Government allocates 100 million lei to farmers hit by spring frosts

The Government of the Republic of Moldova will provide assistance to farmers and citizens affected by late spring frosts and adverse weather conditions in July. This decision was announced by Prime Minister Dorin Recean during a meeting of the Commission for Emergencies (CSE).
The Prime Minister announced that 100 million lei have been allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture to compensate farmers for their losses.
Additionally, over 510 thousand lei will be used to repair the roof of the kindergarten-nursery "Alunelul" in the village of Aluniș, located in the Râșcani district. This fund will also help compensate for the damages incurred to the housing stock in the area.
"The government is committed to supporting our people and recognizing the value of their hard work," stated Dorin Recean.
