The number of citizens living in the localities on the left bank of the Nistru River and in the Bender municipality who receive benefits from the public budget is steadily increasing. Between 2021 and September 1, 2025, a total of 1,758 individuals have received benefits from the state social insurance budget, according to data provided by the Reintegration Policy Bureau (BPR).

The financial support provided by the Bureau is designed to assist with the upbringing and care of children.

In 2024, a record 582 beneficiaries were supported, the highest figure in the past five years. The most commonly requested forms of support included the single allowance at the birth of a child, with 280 applications, and the monthly allowance for childcare until the age of two, which received 299 applications.

During the first eight months of 2025, 347 families received various types of allowances, demonstrating ongoing public interest in these social policies.

The Bureau's press release states, “The increase in the number of beneficiaries reflects the citizens' trust and interest in the social policies implemented by Chisinau.”

The authorities also highlight that special allowances have been provided each year for families raising twins or multiples from a single pregnancy, extending support until the children reach the age of three. This reflects a growing focus on families with special needs.

The Bureau representatives emphasize, “Strengthening social protection mechanisms for citizens in the Transnistrian region remains a constant priority. We aim to ensure a safer and more dignified life for every family and child and to promote inclusive and equitable policies throughout the country.”
