Cimișlia searches uncover firearms in 45-year-old man’s home
A 45-year-old man from Cimișlia faces up to six years in prison for illegally possessing several firearms and anti-tank mines.
According to the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP), a search conducted at the man's home uncovered over 240 cartridges of various calibers, four firearms, four magazines, and three objects resembling anti-tank mines. These items are believed to be intended for specific applications.
The police determined that the objects were possessed illegally.
All items were confiscated and sent to the Technical-Forensic and Judicial Expertise Center of the IGP for further examination.
The individual could face imprisonment ranging from two to six years, along with a fine between 57,500 and 67,500 lei.
