Moldova: Free transport offered for Condrița Forest Festival

Free shuttle buses are being provided for attendees of a forest festival at the Condrița Presidential Residence on Sunday, September 14.
The buses will run all day from two specific points: under the Telecentru bridge and from 122 Alba Iulia Street (Ion Pelivan bus stop) in Buiucani. The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) says the bus journey will last between 40 and 60 minutes.
Authorities have warned that access to the residence by private car is not recommended due to limited parking on a narrow shoulder. Drivers are being asked to keep their speed below 30 km/h on the route to ensure safe and fluid traffic flow.
The second edition of the festival, which runs from 11:00 to 20:00 on Sunday, will feature workshops, interactive exhibitions, and an eco-friendly fair, among other attractions. Performers include folk ensembles from across Moldova, along with a number of local artists, with the evening set to be closed by the Vali Boghean Band.

Admission to the festival is free.
The event is part of the National Afforestation Programme, launched in 2023 under the patronage of President Maia Sandu, which aims to plant some 145,000 hectares of forest by 2033.
The Forest Festival is organised by the Ministry of Environment, in partnership with a number of environmental organisations and with the support of Slovenia.
