Elections 2025// Printing of ballots for polling stations in the country started

Over 2.7 million ballots are being printed for polling stations nationwide for the parliamentary elections on September 28. The process began on Thursday morning, September 18, at the printing house on Mitropolit Petru Movilă Str.
The President of the Central Electoral Commission, Angelica Caraman, approved the production of the ballot template and the commencement of ballot printing.


The ballot papers for this year’s parliamentary elections are 140 mm wide and 587 mm long. According to the print run established by the Central Electoral Commission, 2.1 million ballot papers will be printed in Romanian, and the rest – in Russian, Gagauz, Bulgarian and Romani.
In this parliamentary election, voters will have the choice between 23 political parties, electoral blocs, and independent candidates. The authorities have already printed and sent the ballot papers for the 301 polling stations that are open abroad.
