Moldova: Zimbru footballers call on young people to vote

Zimbru Chișinău football players say they will vote in Moldova's upcoming parliamentary elections on September 28. The club's own players have urged young people to follow their example and be active.

The team's local players say they are invested in the future of the Republic of Moldova. Defender Ștefan Burghiu and goalkeeper Iulian-Sebastian Agachi are among those urging young people to go to the polls.

"This vote can change the future of our country," said Ștefan Burghiu. "I hope we come out in great numbers and make a well-informed choice."

Iulian-Sebastian Agachi also added that "the future of our country is in our hands. We are the ones who will shape the future, and we do it for ourselves, for our children, and for our parents."

Zimbru players will play against Politehnica-UTM on September 27, and a day later, they will head to the polls to vote.
