Ana Revenco and Mircea Geoană discussed the strengthening of Moldova's resilience and the security situation in the region

Interior Minister Ana Revenco held an official meeting in Brussels with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană. The officials jointly assessed the extremely volatile security situation and discussed ways to increase the level of information to the authorities in Brussels on the situation in the region, according to an Interior Ministry press release.

The dignitaries also addressed topical issues, including strengthening Moldova's resilience and the state of security in the region, hybrid threats from the Russian Federation, as well as prospects and priorities for cooperation with EU member states.

The Minister of Interior attends the fifth meeting of the European Union Security Hub for Internal Security and Border Management of the Republic of Moldova (Security Hub) in Brussels.

Also today, Ana Revenco signed a letter of intent with Europol to improve cooperation between the European structure and the internal affairs system in our country, including by piloting innovative technologies implemented by Europol.
