VIDEO // 31 Transnistrian provocateurs documented at "Patriotic" Bloc protest

On Monday, September 29, thirty-one individuals, predominantly from the Transnistrian region, were interrogated at the Centru and Buiucani police inspectorates in Chisinau. This followed their removal from a protest in front of Parliament, organized by the Patriotic Electoral Bloc of Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova.
Law enforcement officers announced that they had drawn up 24 reports for "violation of the rules regarding the organization and conduct of public gatherings", "hooliganism" and "failure to fulfill the obligations of maintenance, education and training of the child".
The General Inspectorate of Police assures that the actions of the institution's employees were legal and aimed at preventing incidents, maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of all persons present at the protest.
The General Inspectorate of Police made public audio intercepts and sequences from the hearings, which confirm coordinated actions to provoke destabilization in Chisinau.
A man from the town of Dubăsari admitted that he brought four people to the "Patriotic" Bloc protest and was going to receive money - 250 euros for each "protester".
Other people questioned say that they were going to participate in the same protest for amounts ranging from 450 lei to 150 dollars.
We note that, the day after the parliamentary elections, the “Patriotic” Bloc organized a short protest in front of the Parliament, which was attended by less than 200 people.
One of the leaders of the bloc, the socialist Igor Dodon, announced that the political entity had filed several complaints with the Central Electoral Commission regarding the conduct of the voting process on September 28.
After the official decision of the central electoral authority, the “Patriotic” Bloc will decide whether to “recognize or not” the results of the parliamentary elections.
Previously, law enforcement officers warned that they had information about possible destabilizations prepared on the night after the parliamentary elections, as well as in the following days.
On the evening of September 28, police detained three people, including two brothers from the Transnistrian region, who were allegedly employees of the law enforcement structures on the left bank of the Nistru, being the leaders responsible for coordinating, monitoring and logistically supplying the protest groups.
During the detention and searches, several objects, including pyrotechnics and flammables, were found on the three suspects, which were to be used to panic the crowd and create chaos.
We note that, according to the preliminary results of the September 28 elections, the "Patriotic" Bloc could have 26 seats in the new Parliament.
The Action and Solidarity Party won over 50% of the votes and will hold a parliamentary majority in the future Legislature.
