Portugal beat Spain 3-2 to win Under-19 Futsal Euro
Portugal's Under-19 men's team won the Futsal European Championship in Chișinău. In the final, Portugal defeated Spain 3-2, having trailed 2-0.
Ruano opened the scoring in the 15th minute at the Chișinău Arena. Nacho Olivares made it 2-0 to Spain after the break, scoring in the 30th minute.
Portugal, the reigning champions, pulled a goal back just one minute later through Simao Cordeiro. With under two minutes left in regular time, Tiago Rodrigues equalised, giving the side hope.
The match then went into two five-minute periods of extra time. Rodrigo Monteiro missed a penalty for Portugal in the 47th minute. However, Portugal scored the winning goal with only 14 seconds remaining, thanks to Eduardo Chuda.
This was the fourth edition of the European Championship. Portugal secured their second title, matching Spain's two trophies.
