3,000 lei bonus for young specialists: over 80 will get extra salary support.
Two months after the launch of the National Program "Over 3,000 lei for your career", 83 young people will receive the monthly allowance of 3,000 lei, and over 1,000 other young people have been identified as pre-eligible and are about to complete the digital validation procedure.
“The future of Moldova’s economy depends on young people who choose to build a career here, at home. Through this program, we support not only them, but also the strategic industries that can transform the country: from automotive and electronics, to creative and agri-food industries. Every young person employed in a modern company means a more competitive and European economy”, said Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
According to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, the “Over 3,000 lei for your career” program is about real opportunities for young people, a helping hand at the beginning of the journey and a clear signal that the state wants to see them employed in sectors that matter for the future of Moldova.
“The first results show us that young people react positively and are ready to contribute to the development of the country”, emphasized Minister Alexei Buzu.
The program offers young people aged between 18 and 35 a non-taxable monthly allowance of 3,000 lei for 12 months, upon their first full-time employment in one of the seven strategic industries for the country's economic development: pharmaceuticals, electronics, automotive, textiles, agri-food, construction materials and creative industries.
The program is part of the National Economic Development Strategy 2030 and the National Industrial Development Program 2024–2028, and aims to strengthen value-added industries and retain young specialists in the country.
